Fish & Float West – Pricing Information
One week self-guided trip is $3400 per person for a group of two or more on most rivers accessed from Dillingham. Additional Fuel surcharge applied to some rivers. See our RATES page for specific pricing. Additional days may be added at a rate of $150/day per angler.
What Sets us Apart?
Our trips are Custom and Exclusive. We listen to what fishing adventure you desire and what level of experience you have. We then select a river for you and your group to float, best matching your abilities and interest. Most importantly, it is just your group. We do not combine you with other guests you do not know. That’s what makes us ‘exclusive’ and it makes your adventure unique and special!
Fish and Float West – Sample Itinerary
Duration of the trip is customizable from 3 day quick get aways, to extended stays of 10+ days!
Arrival Saturday: Leave home for airport, flight to Anchorage, connecting flight to Dillingham, overnight in hotel, lodge or Airbnb.
Sunday: Or go the red eye option, arriving on location the morning your float trip kicks off.
- Pick up in Dillingham mid-morning.
- Load gear in the float planes, fly out to river, and be fishing by early afternoon.
- Set up gear/ relax/ fish
Monday-Friday: float/fish/camp/hike/relax/fish some more…
Departure Saturday: break camp/row to takeout by early-morning (some rivers you will camp at the takeout)
- Depart river for Dillingham around mid-morning
- Depart Dillingham for Anchorage early-afternoon, or stay the night and depart the following day.

New Locations: King Salmon and Dillingham
Our partners at Rainbow River Aviation are expanding their horizons with three new DeHavilland Beaver floatplanes as well as new locations in King Salmon and Dillingham. Fish and Float is growing with them.
Alaska Airlines services both new locations, allowing guests to book flights to their final destination in Alaska. This option eliminates the need to charter a plane from Anchorage, saving guests time and money.
